STREET CAR MEN VOTING ON STRIKE Employees in St. Louis Will Decide Upon Demands Formulated by Offl rials'. ST. LOUIS. May 11. Employees of the St. Louis Transit company are voting on the advisability of submitting to the officers offi-cers of the company demands formulated by the officers of the association. It is expected ex-pected that the poll will be completed by Tuesday night. The demands are recognition of the, union, a revision of hours and wages, arbitration arbi-tration of all dlfTcultles and reinstatement reinstate-ment of discharged employees. The Transit company employs 3000 men, the majority of whom are said to be members of the union.
