Mr. Newberry was .forced to resign by reason of continued 111 health. His resignation will go into effect March ' 31st, Mr. Newberry will probably prob-ably go into business for himself as soon as he recovers his health. THE NAME of Albert H. Nash, late a legislator, was sent to the Council last night by City Auditor Reiser, who appointed ap-pointed him as Deputy Auditor. The appointment ap-pointment was confirmed. FJRB CHIEF JAMBS DEVINE has notified the City Council that he has promoted pro-moted Firemen W. H. C. Drake and James Mackle to the position of engineer.
