The football teams of the two classes met Monday on Cummlngs field and the Seniors won by a score of 12 to 0. The game was not only a hard fought one but was remarkably clean and free from fumbles.. Both teams showed rood offensive work but the defense of the Seniors was i much the better and their heavy backs plowed their way through the Junior line for good gains. Chrlstenson of the Seniors was the star of the game, making ma-king both touchdowns for bis team and running back a kick off for fifty-five yards. ' . Thomas, the Junior quarterback, made a sensational recovery of a fumble and ran twenty-five yards. " BiUlngs and Alexander also did fine work, and Smith and Travers did splendid execution at tackle. As the sophomores have defeated the freshmen, the decldins; game of the series se-ries will be between the seniors and the sophomores. ' |
