Show MORE DELAY FOR BROWN Arthur Brown secured another delay of almost a week this morning. He was cited to appear in court to plead to information in-formation charging adultery. Attorney King stated to Judge Morse that he had filed a petition tor a rehearing re-hearing in the Supreme court on the application ap-plication for a writ of mandate, and that he would like a continuance until next Monday. County Attorney Westervelt objected to the delay saying that the matter had gone over time after time and that he thought it was high time the trial was commenced. Judge Morse, however, declined to take up the case until after the Supreme Su-preme court had passed on the matter, and set next Monday morning at 10 o'clock as the time for the defendant to appear In court. The grounds of the petition for a rehearing are that the applicant ap-plicant did not cite all his authorities, and did not make his discussion in full. |
