Half the town of Watrous was destroyed by the . flood and at least twelve persons were drowned. Among these were the three children of J. E. Stevens, Felix Villirael, his wife, two sisters and several children, and O. P. Porter. v ", J. E. Stevens and his wife escaped and have been brought here. They are in a critical condition. Many persons Vece rescued from trees and housetops. The greatest damage was around the Junction f Mora and Sapello c.reeks.
