Show JUST A SAMPLE OF HEAVY-WEIGHT HUMOR - Lew Fields tells a story of a meeting of James J. Jeffries, the champion pugilist pu-gilist of the world, and Lawrence D'Or-say, D'Or-say, the English, actor. According to Mr. Fields, he was playing in Boston, and after the performance he met tTOrsay at the Adams house, and they stepped into the cafe. There they saw Jeffries, who personally was known to j Mr. Fields. Jeffries came forward and J shook hands, and Fields introduced him to D'Orsay, saying: "Mr. D'Orsay, this is Mr. Jeffries, the champion pugilist pugi-list of the world." -" 'Pon-- lionor." - said D'Orsay, 'Tm glad to meet you. Have a very warm spot in, my heart for you prise fighting fellawi. - Know an awfully nice chap in that line of work. Fellaw named James Corbett. Ever meet him?" ' "Tee." answered Jeffries.
