Conant, vice-president of the Morton Trust company of New York, and Edward Brush, vice-president of the American Smelting and Refining company, invited to come here by Finance Fi-nance Minister LImantour to study the silver situation and aid In forming a plan for giving Mexico a stable currency, cur-rency, were formally presented to Finance Fi-nance Minister Limantour today. Much is expected from the counsels and experience ex-perience of these Americans. The conviction con-viction grov.-s that the country will soon adopt a modified gold standard, giving stability of value to the sliver peso. |
