Show opment company of Utah, in the Marysvale district, have been consolidated under a holding hold-ing company known as the Utah Gold Mountain Moun-tain Mining company. The new company has capital stock of $4,500,000 in shares of the old companies is exchangeable share for share for that of the new. Sixty horses, owned by the eompanv. are utilised in transporting ores from the Siegel mine, in White Pine county, Nevada, to the Nevada Northern railroad. Three cars are being aent in every week, the values of which are 80 to 200 ounces silver, and the ore carries car-ries heavily in manganese. The old Kille and Juniper mines, in the Spruce Mountain district, 100 miles north of Ely, Nev., have been taken over by Montana capitalists for immediate rejuvenation. They were sold by Justice G. F. Tslbot of the Nevada- Supreme court, and were formerly operated ope-rated by G. L. Moats of Salt Like. The Spartan, Index and Bingo claims, in the same district, have been sold to William Dunn of Bannock. Mont., who will stock the same for development. When previously active this district was forty-five miles from a railroad, but the mines are now within nine miles of a station on the Nevada Northern.
