Show T0WNE AND THE VICE-PRESIDENCY. Charlie Towne would like to be nominated for Vice-President in case Mr. Bryan is nominated for President, but not otherwise. ' Explaining, he says that he and Mr. Bryan are friends and in full accord in political views, and, further, that he knows it is Mr.. Bryan's determination, if he ever gets to be President, to make the Vice-President a member-of his Cabinet council, and that his Vice-President will be asked to participate in the discussions which concern con-cern the welfare of the country. , . We have often wondered why this was notj made the rule in the beginning!
