Show OGDEN. FELL DOWN STEPS. City Attorney John E. Bagley, while coming com-ing down the courthouse step yesterday, slipped and fell, badly injuring hia right leg. Judge Bagley will be laid up for several sev-eral weeks as a result of th accident. LONG FIGHT ENDS. The trouble between the Ogdea City Waterworks Wa-terworks company and the city ia ended. This statement will be welcome newa to every resident in Ogden. The fight between be-tween the city and the water company haa lasted for fifteen years, and hss been through the courts a number of times. At the present time the wsterworks compsny has judgments against the city amounting to $41,000. By the terms of the franchise granted to the 'Company by the City Council thia amount is wiped out with the exception excep-tion of 11000, which is to be psid by August Au-gust 6. Under ths franchise granted last night, which is for a term of fifty yesrs, the water tax will be greatly 'reduced to all consumers. The rental of fire hydrants ia reduced from $75 per year to $35 per year. The company i to put in a number of new hydrants and to extend Its main in sevsral part of the city.
