Show Charged,. With Awful Crime. LOS ANGELES. Cal.', June 13. J. C. Jaxon, the colored tailor of Pasadena, now In the county Jail here, and his former for-mer helper, Peter C. Goldle. have been formally charged with the murder of James A. Logan, a young mulatto clerk, at Pasadena, May 18 last. The body of Young Logan was found on the golf links of the Raymond hotel, lying in a ravine, where it has bean dragged and partially covered with leaves and grass. Logan's skull had been crushed, his throat cut from ear to ear and he had been stabbed in a dozen places. |
