Show A GLIMPSE, OF UTAH. From the passenger department of the D. & R. G. railroad in Denver comes, we suspect in the interest inter-est of the scenic limited, "A Glimpse of Utah," a most marvelous and beautiful publication devoted expressly to Utah and its attractions, its resources, its industries, its prospects, its history, beautifully written and illustrated superbly. Nothing more complete was ever produced to picture a State, its climate, its people and its resources. It will make every passenger on a Rio Grande train have a better opinion of Utah, and it will give thousands and tens of thousands of passengers a glimpse of a region of which they never before have had any conception. Of all the railroad publications we ever saw. this is the verv finest, with the single exception of the book gotten out last year by the Southern Pacific to picture the attractions of the great coast route from Los Angeles to Seattle. It is said the illustrations of that cost f 40,000, but the road will get the money back, and so the Rio Grande will get the money back for this wonderful little book of description and information on all the subjects that concern the people of Utah. We congratulate con-gratulate the D. & R. G. on its production, and give the full mead of praise to the enterprise which prompted it and the perseverance which carried it on. |
