The. shot entered her left arm -and sid, causing -injuries that will neoessltate the amputation of tha arm. -' '. Sorenson Jumped through the window by which he had gained an entrance to the house and 'tried to make his escape. According to the story told to the officers by- Sorenson' he was to have killed Mrs. Woodland and 'then set fire to the house. .Mr. Woodland la an invalid and was to have been burned. He states that he was aiked to do the murderous act by young Woodland, who has had .some difficulty with his parents' over a land deal.
