HIGH MARK MADE IN THE HEAT RACE The temperature yesterday rose higher than at any time this year. The highest mark reached yesterday was at o'clock last evening, when the thermometer reached the 91-degree mark. The temperature tem-perature will probably go higher today. Cooler weather will probably hit. Salt Lake City tomorrow. The weather man has another Jolt up his sleeve to hand the residents of Salt Lake City. The weather prophet declares that the weather will be partly cloudy tonight and Wednesday, with local showers and also cooler. When the temperature was taken at 6 o'clock this morning it registered 66 degrees, and by 1 o'clock toaay the mercury had gone up the tube to the 87-dfgree 87-dfgree mark. This is one of the hottest davs in years. There were a number of thunder showers show-ers In the Northwest this morning, and the storm center seems to be moving toward Utah. All around Utah have been showers, and they will undoubtedly have their effect on the weather of Salt Lake City within the next few hours.
