'- . ' DAVID KEITH D AVID KEITH is one of the most influential influen-tial men and best known mining men of the West. He has had a lifetime's experience as a practical miner and mine owner and has done much to promote thewelfare of the mining mi-ning interests of this section of the country. Before coming .to Utah he spent seventeen years on the Comstock and had charge of some of the most important development of that famous fa-mous district. In 1883 he removed to Park City, Utah, and for eight years was foreman of the Ontario. His career since then has become a part of the history of the State. With his as- i sociate, Thomas Kearns, he exploited the great Silver King property and made the Park City district famous throughout the world. David Keith has done much for the State of Utah. His large income has been put steadily into new channels and no small part of the great development and prosperity of the city and State has been due to his enterprise. Personally Person-ally no man is held in higher esteem for his many admirable qualities. His great wealth has left him as he has always been a generous, gener-ous, public spirited citizen, believed in and appreciated ap-preciated by all who know him. . |
