Involuntary Bankruptcy Petltl6n. - A petition asking that the Hope Engraving En-graving company be. declared an lnvol- ; untary bankrupt was filed In the Federal Fed-eral court yesterday. The petitioners are George B.- Hurd Co.. New York; R, L. Polk & Co; and L N. Parker. It is alleged that the company, is Insolvent and . recently allowed a judgment to be entered against it. The property is now liable under the execution of the-judgment and the other creditors would not be able tp get their fro rata unless the company is declared a bankrupt. ' ' ti 'i A M. Daughters Meet A meeting of the directors of tie D. A. and M. society will be held this evening even-ing for the purpose of discussing the coming Intermountain fair. The meeting meet-ing will be held in the office of the association as-sociation in the Templeton block. Boss Clark Here. Vice-President J. Ross Clark of the Salt Lake Route arrived in Salt Lake City yesterday from Butte. Mr. Clark stopped off in Salt Lake to confer with other officials of the road. He left last evening ove the Salt Lake Route for the West. Mr. Clark is going to' Los 'Vegas to inspect the Tonopah branch of the road, which now runa as far as Johnny. He declares that the road will be completed through as far as Beatty by the middle of July. |
