Show GOLDEN STAR IN VERY BAD MUDDLE Several stockholders of the Golden Star Mining company have petitioned the District court for a receiver for the company. An accounting under, the direction di-rection of the. court is also asked for. According to the complaint, the officers of the company have 'disposed of the company's property, alleged to be valued val-ued at 11,000,000. for $450,000, which it is asserted is far less than the actual value. Further. It is averred that pretended meetings of the directors were held for the purpose of defrauding the stockholders stock-holders and the stock Issue has been increased to carry out this plan. The complainants to the action are George Mullett. O. H. Herbert. Theoph-ilus Theoph-ilus Parsons and M. M. Kaighn. While the suit was being filed the directors di-rectors were attempting to get a dissolution disso-lution of the company before Judge Morse. The complainants In the case fljed yesterday are objecting to the dissolution dis-solution asked by the directors on the grounds that it is part of. a plan to get away with the company's property. The case is being tried by Judge Morse. |
