Wilson, cashier of the Commercial 'atlonal bank of this city, for San Francisco, to accept a more lucrative position, Salt Lake will lose one of her most enterprising business men. Mr. Wilson embarked VP the ral estate, business In this city about 190. but In a short time his reputation for Integrity and business enterprise . which had preceded him, procured for him a position with the Utah National bank. Resigning Re-signing this position he entered Into the loan. Insurance and land business by organizing or-ganizing the Wilson-Sherman company. In which he will continue vto hold a largo Interest. . About three years ago the position of cashier of the Bank of Commerce was tendered him and when this Institution was deprived of a home' by the burning of the Atlas block, Mr. Wilson effected a merger with the Commercial National and for his services In this deal he was , made cashier. The bank has forged to the front under his management and officials, offi-cials, have used every effort to retain Mr. Wilson's services. - He was a member of the Utah Legislature Legisla-ture and president of the Board of Education.- He Is now president of the Salt Lake Clearing-house association. His new position will be vice-president of the American National bank, located In the Merchants' Exchange building on California Cal-ifornia street. San Francisco. It la a young institution, but has had a phenomenal phenome-nal growth, and with a capital of $1,000,000 and deposits of 14,600,000, Mr. Wilson will be given an opportunity to show his ablli- t ty In a much larger field. .
