Show MINIDOKA CITIZENS OPPOSE THE PROJECT , MINIDOKA, Ida., March 27. The set.' tiers on ths Minidoka reclamation project held a mass meeting in this town Saturday night to protest against the segregation of $1,000,000 from ths Minidoka project for use on the Boise-Payette enterprise. Eve-leth, Eve-leth, secretary. The object of the meeting was explained by Hod. Frank Rlblett of Cassia county. In an interesting fifteen-minute talk on ths situation, showing that 400 bona fids settlers would be practically thrown out of house and home for years, and in the majority of cases permanently. He was followed by other prominent men speak. Ing along the same lines, among them Messrs. Scherrer, Cheney, Burgess, Sears, Huggins and others. A committee, consisting of Frank Scherrer, Scher-rer, R. L. Cheney and F. A. Eveleth. was appointed to draft a telegram to President Presi-dent Roosevelt, urging him to Investigate ths proposed segregation of ths Minidoka project funds and see that justice was Of ne to all parties.
