Show DESPONDENT BARBER . TURNS ON THE GAS Ray Crosby,' who attempted to commit com-mit suicide Saturday night by inhaling gas fumes, is out of danger, according to reports from the D. S. hospital, where Crosby was takon after his futile fu-tile effort to kill himself. Crosby, who is a barber,' was found In a room In the Gladstone block with gas escaping into his room through a rubber hose attached to the gas Jet. The escaping fumes were discovered by A. H. Matthews, who caused an investigation investiga-tion to be made. On entering the room Crosby was found In an unconscious condition. Dr. A. C. Ewing was called and nitroglycerine nitro-glycerine was administered. Crosby was removed to the hospital later. His parents live In Ogden and Crosby came to Salt Lake Friday. He had been out of work for some time. |
