Show RIVER ON RAMPAGE; MUCH DAMAGE DONE MORGANTOWN, W. Va.. March 11. No "V1 flood since has wrought the damage done by high waters here today. The . r'.onongahela river reached a stage of . twenty-six feet. The Baltimore & Ohio and Morgantown & Kingwood railroads were both paralyzed in this vicinity today. . It will be at least four days before trains can be run on the Morgantown & King-wood King-wood railroad. The Standard Oil company com-pany pumping station has six feet of water In it. and will be unable to resume i for a week. It is said the luck and dam No. 11 on the Monongahela Is In danger of destruction. The life reported lost Is Iawrence Martin of Dellslpw, who, it is ' "- thought, has fallen Into Deckers creek and drowned. |
