Dee died suddenly at 1:15 o'clock Sunday Sun-day morning at his home, 808 Washington: Washing-ton: avenue, after an illness of only three days. Judge Dee, -who was one ; of the best known men In Weber county, coun-ty, and who had ever been active for the development of the city and the county, had only been ailing since Wednesday evening. On that day he -went to the fork east of Huntsvllle to inspect the reservoir altea recently located lo-cated for a new Irrigation and power enterprise in which he waa Interested, and slipped Into the water; getting wet to the waist. .A little later, though, the day was quite warm, he developed a chill, and waa hurried home in tha au?-tomoblle.of au?-tomoblle.of M. Dr. Allen arrived ar-rived from Salt Lake a' few minutes after Judge Dee died. ' ' All of the members of the family jwere present at the death of Judge ' Dee. as well as Judge H. H. Rolapp and Charls C. Richards, close personal friends, and two of his physicians, Drs. Og-e'en." and Vss'an earnest worker for the development of th city. For many years he was connected with the public school system, and did a great deal for the development and benefit of the system. He had been Municipal Judse. and for several terms had been a member of the City Council. He was made a member of the State Board of Equalization by Gov. Wells, and later by Gov. Cutler. |
