The Agricultural college muddle has, been settled and peace prevails among, the majority of the members of the board of trustees. The trustees met Saturday afternoon, with W. S. McCornlck, who recently returned re-turned from Europe, presiding. As predicted in The Telegram Saturday, Satur-day, -President Kerr was' retained as the head of the institution, and in addition ad-dition to this, his salary was materially Increased. , Prof. Lewis A. Merrill was succeeded as assistant professor of agronomy by William Jardine, and Prof. John A. Widtsoe was succeeded as director of the experiment station by Dr. O. A. Yoder. ' It was determined that students In the engineering course should be allowed al-lowed to matriculate, but that no new students would be received , for that course. . |
