Show SEEING KEOKUK. Last Wednesday there was an excursion excur-sion from Kayvllle to Keokuk. Ia. There were four of the Rayvllle boys went. We came to n large railroad bridge aerosi 'the river at Keokuk. Part of that bridge had to turn around to let the boat pass through. The boat landed after It passed the bridge. By the time the boat put us on shore It was 4 o'clock, and only had an hour to stay In town. The crowd went up In town to see such a large city. The population of Keokuk' In only 15.000. Street cars there as we never saw before. be-fore. . The hour passed away soon and never got to see half the town on account ac-count of the steametleavlng at 6, and then the mate had to go up in town and hurry some 61 them up, then part of hem may of got left. On the steamer . there was beer and most anything you would want. Music and waltzing too who lai.d the chunk. One fellow got a beer bottle landed up against the side of his head. When we got off the train here most every one thought we were drunk, they said, because be-cause we looked so bad,-which we certainly cer-tainly did feel tuff. But all the crowd reports a nice time.
