Show RECKLESS DRIVERS OF AUTOS DEMOUNCED I c . ' ' ' ' , CHICAGO, Oct. . Reckless automobile operators were denounced scathingly yesterday yes-terday by the Rev. P. J. McDonnell, speaking from the pulpit of St. Mel's Ro- man Catholic church, Washington boulevard boule-vard and Porty-third avenue. Father . McDonnell's utterances were prompted by an accident almost at the doors of the church a few minutes before vetper services began. Mrs. Bridget Han-non, Han-non, .a. widow 72 years, of age. was run down by a machine. She was crossing the street to enter the church, of which she is- a member. Her injuries were eerere, and Bhe was carried to the priest's house. J. H. Eustace, owner of the car. stopped and gave what aid he could. His chauffeur, chauf-feur, Harry Johnstone, was arrested.
