Show COMMERCE FOR 1905 LARGER THAN BEFORE WASHINGTON, Feb. 8. According to a report Issued by the Department of Commerce and Labor, the aggregate volume of international commerce during dur-ing 1905' was undoubtedly the largest for any corresponding period in the history of the country. The report says: ' "The greatly Increased activities in the iron, steel and copper industries were particularly worthy of note, having hav-ing caused Iron production, . according to reliable commercial sources, to advance ad-vance 40 per cent, and copper nearly 15 per cent over similar production in 1904." |
