Show GRAPES AND BANANAS IN ABUNDANCE ON MARKET .- Grapes and bananas have been the principal offering; oh the local market for .. the last few days. Receipts of I , the wholesale, houses for the week are as , follows: a The C. J. Hancock Bros, company, one car grapes, Utah fruits, vegetables and poultry-There poultry-There have been but few changes in the price of fruits during the week. Apples are offered at 75c to 11.50 a bushel, lemons remain at 40c the dozen, oranges are still scarce at 40c to 60c the dozen, cantaloupes may be had at from IVt to 10c each, watermelons water-melons at from 6c to 40c each, peaches are selling at from 65c to fl the case, pears at from $1.25 to $1.50 the bushel. Grape prices by the basket are as follows: fol-lows: White, 30c; black, 40c; Tokays, 50c; Concords, 60c; Potawotomle plums are 75c to fl per case. Bananas are 15c to 25c the dozen. The poultry and t-gg market remains the same ag last week; spring chickens, 40e to 60c each; broilers. 22Hc the pound; hens, 20c a pound; tame ducks, 20c a pound; eggs, 25c to 30c a dozen; butter, 25c and Sue a pound. But few changes are noted in the vegetable market; tomatoes to-matoes are 5c the pound; 12 per bushel for the ripe variety; 60c a peck or $1.75 the bushel for the green kind: pumpkins remain the same, lac, 20c and -25c each; beets are two bunches for 6c, live for 10c; the same price holds good on green onions, turnips and carrots; old onions are 6c the pound. First-class cauliflower brings l&c a pound; potatoes are 7ac the bushel; new cabbage. 4c the pound; red cabbage, 6c; string beans may be had at THc per pound; corn.20c and 25c a dozen; celery, 6c and 10c. the same as last week: this vegetable will be greatly improved as soon as the frost gets a chance at It. Summer squash is three for a dime; the hubbard, from 10c to 25c each. Peppers may be had at from 6c to 15c the pound, according to the kind wanted. The market Is weil supplied with fish and oysters at the following prices: Bea bass. 15c per pound; shad, the same; whiteflsh, 20c per pound; sturgeon, 15c; perch, 15c; codfish, loc; halibut. 15c; striped bass. 20c; salmon, 17c; Mackinaw Macki-naw trout, 20c; soles and flounders. 124c; pike, 20c; black bass, 35c; fresh mackerel, 0c; catfish. 15c; smelt, 15c; barracuda, 15c; bonlta, 16c a pound. There have been few changes in the prices of meats during the week.
