TREMENDOUS EXPLOSION aasasaBsaaaamaaaaB - " '"-. One Man Blown to Pieces and Another Injured in Railroad Excavation. NEW YORK, Sept. 29. One man is said to have been blown to pieces and another to have had his arm torn off in a 'tremendous explosion last -night in the excavation for the Pennsylvania railroad terminal. The city was shaken for a ra&ius of a half-mile around ihe excavation and the people all over the neighborhood ran from their houses in fright.
