Show RIDGWAY 1N0GDEN Western Pacific's Manager Mana-ger Is on a Tour of Inspection. ' r General Manager Ridgway of the Rio Grande is In Ogden. He passed through Salt Lake on the midnight train en route from Denver. r Mr. Rldgway's trip is said to be solely One of Inspection. But in view of many rumors railroad men along "The Row" are Inclined to think It has much significance In it at this time. Mr. Ridgway is the man "slated" to build the new Western Pacific road of the Gould interests. The bids for this San Francisco-Salt Lake connection will be opened in the Golden Gate city the coming com-ing week. It is rumored that the bids wilt be turned over to Virgil Bogue. the engineer engi-neer of the new road, now in the California Califor-nia city, who Is, according to the same rumor, going to bring them on to Mr. Ridgway for a conference, and who will in his turn forward them to Mr. Gould at his New York headquarters.
