Tong Shao Yi has been appointed vice-president of the Board of Foreign Affairs, replacing Wu Ting Fang, who has been appointed vice-president of the Board of Punishments. The appointment of Tong Shao Yi is regarded as of the highest importance, his being one of the strongest iK-rsonallties on the board, and b. -sides, he has had considerable experience in foreign affairs.
