Miner-! ette club girls, the special guests and faculty. '4BnERETTE CLUB j R( annual Mother's day tea Hsheld Wednesday, May 14 at fwBBCO hall. Special guests, 'fcjv im mi 'i's and the moth-Um moth-Um were grn-ted at the door by Ufa June Gammell and Cath- v'B.t Chipian Taking them to we're Donna Kd and Joyce Wells, and re ceiving the coats was Frances Fullmer. The receiving line consisted con-sisted of officers Isabel! Rose, Colleen Creedon, Dorothy Ger-bich, Ger-bich, Marillyn Wells, Darlene Morley and Helen Drossos. Ushering Ush-ering the guests were Bonnie Jean Johnson and Lenna Jean Jensen. Passing programs were ; Jayne Bigler and Margaret Nix. I The program given was as follows: fol-lows: Welcome, Colleen Creedon; tribute to mothers, Joyce Miller; : vocal solo, "Mother MaCree", by Kaye Abplanalp; guest speaker was Alta Miller; piano solo, "In j the Garden Tomorrow", Mary Sorenson; presentation of flowers flow-ers to the special guests, faculty and mothers by members of the ! club. The new officers were pre- j sented a flower by each of the old officers. In return the new officers presented the old offic- ! ers with flowers. Colleen Creedon, Cree-don, in closing the program, sang ' That Wonderful Mother of Mine-Each Mine-Each guest was taken into a beautifully decorated tea room. 1 The color scheme was pink and |
