Show Wildlife Refuge in Everglades Planned Development of a new nation a park in Florida's Epical Ever blades region is being expedited by the National Park service and the State of Florida. The Everglade, known as the last stand of American crocodile, he rosea J etation ranging from giant cypress trees to royal palms. Indians still hunt for fox, bear, panther, deer and raccoon in this area. Crocodiles, Croco-diles, alligators and numerous varieties va-rieties of fish inhabit the waters. All this wildlife, however, is dominated by birds-gannets, curlews, ducks, herons, the "long white" egrets, the sand crane and the bald eagle. The proposed park will cover 1,300.000 acres. |
