Show LOCAL JAYCEE NAMED STATE HEAD At the annual Utah junior chamber of commerce convention held in Salt Lake City last weekend, week-end, Bob Jimas was elected new state president. He succeeds W. Hughes Brockbank. Bob, active in state and local Jaycee work and in several local organizations, served the state organization during dur-ing the past year as a vice president. pre-sident. The local club won first place award (trophy) for tax education and two second place awards for I public relatione and Utah Jaycee cooperation, respectively. Among some of the guest speakers at the convention were Dr. Adam S. Bennion of Salt Lake City, national vice presidents, presi-dents, Lofton Tatum of Portland, j Ore., and Ben Sheppard of Glade-water, Glade-water, Texas and Frank Fister of Chicago, national executive vice president State officers for the coming year are Ronald Wiseomb, Layton and Alvin L. Hart, Bountiful, Boun-tiful, national directors; Joseph Wiatroski, Cedar City; Rex Mat-son, Mat-son, Mt. Pleasant; Phil Christen-sen, Christen-sen, Provo; Miles Anderson, Ne-phi; Ne-phi; and Vernon Cook, Logan, state vice presidents. Harold W. Nielsen is the new secretary-treasurer. secretary-treasurer.
