Show Wiwim Si WiYNEVF ENTERS PLEA OF NOT GUILTY Of MURDER Dr. Edward S. Payn, who was arraigned ar-raigned before Judge'Armstrong; Monday Mon-day on the charge of murder, ' entered his plea in the criminal division of the iWrlct court this morning; , His plea was "not guilty." With him in court this morning was his wife and his attorney, at-torney, former Judge O. W. Powers. A hearing of the charge against him Was set for November 22. . , I Dr. Payne is accused of performing a criminal operation which resulted in the death, of Miss Alice Ferguson on August 15 last. Judge Powers, withdrew his appearance appear-ance as attorney for W. S. Yamamoto. this morning, and m place. Attorney Brigham Clegg was substituted. Yamamoto Yam-amoto is a Japanese boy who was arraigned ar-raigned Monday for assault with a deadly weapon. He is charged with assaulting as-saulting Edward Brown with a knife. The affair took place at the Toklo restaurant. res-taurant. Yamamoto pleaded not guilty and a hearing was set for November 23. Cases Set for Hearing. Judge Armstrong set for hearing nineteen other cases this morning, among them being the bounty fraud cases and two charge? of murder. The cases against B. H.
