N Y Feb 15 15 Today Is ladies' ladies day Not that the exercise for lor today is not equally good for men but it has especial appeal for women be because because because be- be cause it is great for the hips and the sides where the spare tires t grow It fairly rolls the fat off Lie on the floor on your back the harder the floor the better your arms extended outward on the floor palms down Raise your legs knees stiff up to the vertical verti verti- cal position and hold Now keeping keeping keeping keep keep- ing your legs together lower your legs to the left until your feet leet touch the floor as indicated by dotted line in picture Raise legs to the vertical and then lower them to the right Continue in inthis inthis inthis this manner as long as you can and then continue for lor a while longer with the knees well bent instead of straight The second method is less strenuous and hence not as good for you but It Itis Itis Itis is better than quitting entirely when the first method makes you tired By now I have given you enough exercises of of varying types to afford you a good daily work work- out Do them for 15 or 20 minutes minutes min mm- utes daily That is long enough if you really put out and by now you should be in pretty good condition already and should be beable beable beable able to start pushing yourself more each day |
