Show Cougar Harriers Prepare for Big Turkey Day Race 1 PROVO Nov 21 Brigham 21 Brigham Young university will send seven brilliant harriers to Salt Lake Thanksgiving day to participate in the annual Deseret Deseret Des Des- eret gym cross eros country run it was announced Monday by Coach Coah Ott Romney The Cougar distance runners are determined to win the team championship championship champion champion- ship and have been working out daily dally for the past four weeks for the event The Provo squad will be headed by bythe bythe bythe the brilliant La Mar Taylor who has dominated the mile run on the western western west west- em ern slope lope of the Rocky Mountain conference con conS ference for the past two years Other veteran Cougar runners to enter are Theron Snyder and Ernest Dean Dean finished third in the race last year and is hoping to better his performance per this season Taylor and Snyder Snyder also also planned on entering last years year's race but were advised not to compete because of weak hearts Besides the three veterans Coach Romney has a quartet of freshmen Max Andrews winner of this 3 years year's ears ear's B.
