Frazier had as dinner guests Tuesday evening Mr. and Mrs. Elliott VV. Evans of Bingham and Mr. and Mrs. J. H. McDonald of Lark. Mr. and Mrs; Harold Francom and daughter, Marion, of Ogden, were guests several days this week of Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Grant. O Parkin. Various games were played and a delicious chili lun-cheon served. Invited were Cheever, Beverly Nix, Ruth McKellar, Jackie Barlow, Vir-ginia Peterson, Marjorie Pullan, Beth Cowdell and Maxine War-ner. Charles McKellar of Wendover arrived Monday to visit his ne-phew, J. L. McKellar, for two weeks. Mr. McKellar has been a patient at the Bingham hospi-tal for the past three weeks. A candy pull was held Sun-day at the home of Colleen Rob-iso- n. Guests were Erma June Gammell, Norma Swain, Marga-ret McKellar and Janice Hansen. Monday evening Robert Ni-chols, Ray Pett and Howard Swain attended a civilian de-fense meeting at the home of Mike Brisk. The B.F.B. club met Saturday evening at the home of Dahrl Rae Miller. Present were Ruth and Rae Barnett, Lois Peterson and Norma Nicholl. A delicious luncheon was served. Visitors January 15 at the Ray Cowdell home were Mr. Cow-dell- 's mother, Mrs. Albert Cow-dell; and Mrs. Cowdell's brother and wife. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Cowdell, and children, of Sandy. A party was held Monday eve-ning at the home of Doris An-derson. Guests were Norma Cow-dell, Jerry Watkins, Donna Jean Gadd, Delia Farley. A two-cour- se luncheon was served. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Cheever and children were visitors in Salt Lake City Saturday at the home of Mrs. Cheever's sister and hus-band, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Gui-ve- r. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Cheev-er motored to American Fork to visit Mr. Cheever's mother, Mrs. Ann Cheever; and Mrs. Cheever's mother, Mrs. Lena Anderson. Lawrence Arthur Durnford, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Durn-ford and a senior in the school of engineering at the University of Utah, was elected vice master al-chemist or vice president of the Alpha Xi chapter of Alpha Chi Sigma. He is also chairman of the committee in charge of the chemical track meet sponsored by Alpha Chi Sigma. Monday evening a Primary class party was enjoyed at the home of their instructor, Mrs. Joseph Jensen. Guests were Mar-Gen- e Barlow, Doris Poulsen, Geraldeen Gammell, Maurine Peterson, Karlene Wilson, Billie Collard, Donald Olsen, Lynn Groves. Pictures of religious sub-jects were placed in books and refreshments served. Mrs. Harry Sours entertained at supper Monday evening for Mrs. Laura McDonald and dau-ghter, Mary Lou, of Midvale, and Mrs. Ida Mugfur. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict American Legion Auxiliary Parly A patriotic theme was used at the American Legion auxiliary to Post No. 30 "no hostess" party at the home of Mrs. J. Dewey Knudsen Tuesday evening. Mrs. Charles Brimhall as chairman, with Mrs. F. J. Quinn and Mrs. Viola Jackson, captains of the membership drive, which ended in a tie, were in charge of the af-fair. Following cards, refreshments were served 22 members and an invited guest, Mrs. Mary Davis of Long Beach, Calif. Defense savings stamp prizes and ap-pointments for the party were given by Mrs. Quinn, who in turn was given a lovely gift by the group. Prizes were awarded Mrs. S. W. Jacques, Mrs. Knud-sen, . J. Hull, and upon said sale of said automobile at public auc-tion at the time and place above stated the proceeds of said sale shall be used for the purpose of paying for the repairs, labor and material placed upon and stor-age of said automobile, and for the costs of publication of this notice and the sale of said auto-mobile. FRISCH HONORED JANUARY IS A bridal shower was given at the Harry Watkins home the ev-ening of January 15 by Miss Joyce Durnford and Miss Virgin-ia Watkins, honoring Mrs. Joe A. Frisch, the former Miss Betty Jane Long. Tables were attractively ar-ranged for a tasty two-cour- se luncheon. Decorations followed a pink and white color scheme.
