Mr. and Mrs. Albert Marsh of Salt Lake City spent Sunday visiting vis-iting Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Timothy. Timo-thy. Miss Betty Jean Benson arrived arriv-ed Monday afternoon with her grandmother, Mrs. Harry Brown-lee, Brown-lee, both of Los Angeles, to visit several weeks in Copperton with Mrs. Kenneth Watkins and in Tooele with Mrs. James Russell, Miss Benson and Mrs. Cleve Howe were guests Tuesday evening of Mrs. Russell Boren. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Kalipetsis of St. Joe Mine entertained Sunday Sun-day afternoon in honor of George Cleve Howe, one-year-old son of Mrs. Cleve Howe, on his name day; and in celebration of the second birthday of Harry Pappa-sideris, Pappa-sideris, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Geo-rge Pappasideris. Parents and relatives re-latives of the two small boys were dinner guests. St. George's day is also name day of George Kalipetsis. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Anderson Ander-son left Tuesday evening for El Paso, Texas, to visit their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Anderson, for two weeks or longer. Turner contacted the commissioners to remind that No. 2 department lost their ladder lad-der while fighting a blaze at the Jeffcott property in Highland Boy about a year ago. County officials promised to replace the ladder and had neglected to do so. James Hyland Caulfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Caul-field, Caul-field, left April 22 to join the naval air corps at Oakland, Cal. Hyland graduated from the University Uni-versity of Utah school of business busi-ness last June and enlisted in the navy a month ago. His brother, broth-er, Corporal John Daniel Caul-field, Caul-field, who, has been in Alaska and in Arizona, is now at Camp Lockette at Campo, Cal., near the Mexican border. Fifth and sixth graders of Bingham Bing-ham Central school, in the class taught by Miss Leola Knudsen, are planning to entertain their mothers at a Mother's day tea Friday, May 8.
