Granquist, president of the Central district, Utah Federation Fed-eration of Women's clubs, will attend a meeting of the council of the Utah federation tomorrow morning, Saturday, at the Hotel Utah. Mrs. J- H. Peckinpaugh of Ogden. federation president, will preside at the session. Dessert and bridge were enjoyed en-joyed by eight guests of Mrs. Clair R. Mathis. who entertained entertain-ed a club at bridge the evening of September 9. Prizes at cards were presented Mrs. W. V. Robinson Robin-son and Mrs. Boyd J. Nerdin. Mr. and Mrs. Neal Reid and family of Salt Lake City visited Monday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Clair R. Mathis and family. Next Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock the West Jordan LDS stake Relief society officers and teachers will hold a planning meeting at the Riverton LDS chapel. Mrs. Evelyn Nielson, stake president, will preside. Officers Of-ficers and class leaders of the Bingham ward will attend. Seaman First Class Edwin Bla-ney Bla-ney of the Coast Guard, stationed station-ed at Santa Cruz, left last Thursday Thurs-day for his base after visiting a week with his wife and daughter. daugh-ter. He also visited relatives and friends in Draper and Salt Lake City. Mrs. J. O. Rasmussen was honored hon-ored on her birthday at a dinner given by her daughter, Mrs. Rodney Rod-ney W. Porter, in Salt Lake City Sunday. Twelve guests were in attendance. Mrs. Rasmussen received re-ceived an air-mail birthday greeting greet-ing from her son, Lt. Keith Rasmussen, Ras-mussen, who is stationed in Hawaii. Ha-waii. She also received a telephone tele-phone call from another son. Garth, now at Minneapolis, Minn., and a member of Herb Miller's orchestra. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Hutchings and children spent Monday and Tuesday visiting in American Fork with Mr. Hutchings' sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Webber. Mrs. Ray Tatton was hostess Monday evening to No. 1 Firemen's Fire-men's auxiliary. Prizes at bridge went to Mrs. Ross Cushing, Mrs. Lon Rawlings and Mrs. Clinton Robison. Refreshments were served ser-ved at small tables seating 12- Mr. and Mrs. Tony DeMarco and daughter, Sharon, of Murray visited September 9 and 10 with Mr. and Mrs. Joe DeMarco of Lead Mine. Saturday young Nan Stokes, who vacationed in Bingham two months, left with Mrs. Wilford n. Harris, at whose home Nan was a guest, to return to Los Angeles An-geles and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Loren Stokes, former Bing-f," Bing-f," M.
