Show Mr. and Mrs. Everett Allinson are parents of a son born Sunday at Bingham hospital. The mother is the former Olive Peterson. Miss Alice Marie Greg of Mid-vale Mid-vale visited her mother, Mrs. Emma Dye of Midvale. Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Jackson Jack-son and Mrs. Howard Jackson spent several days with Mr. and Mrs. Al Mellon of Tooele. Mr. and Mrs. Phil Mudgett and two sons; Mr. and Mrs. Benton Bovd and children; Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Gleason and nephews, Rodney Rod-ney and John Payne of Idaho Falls, Ida., spent July 3 and 4 at Heber. The Payne boys left Friday Fri-day to return home. Kathleen Grabner had as dinner din-ner guests Saturday evening Mrs. Arnt Thompson and daughter. Marjorie, Margaret Mannion and Patricia Mannion. Ensign Calvin M. Jones left by plane Tuesday to report at San Diego. His wife, the former Fae Zahler, plans to spend the summer sum-mer with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Zahler. Rufus Henry Nell, Riverton farmer, died in a Salt Lake hospital hos-pital Saturday, two days after his 75th birthday. He had been in poor health for several months. He was born July 6, 1869, in MacHenry, 111., son of Philip and Clara Nokes Nell. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Annie Jensen Nell; four sons, Delbert Nell, Lark; Edgar Nell, Long Beach, Calif.; Sherman and Joseph Nell, Riverton; one daughter, Mrs. Verda Regies, California; three brothers, Oscar V. Nell, Riverton; River-ton; Franklin W. Nell, Midvale; Reuben P. Nell, Lark; three sisters, sis-ters, Mrs. Flora E. Fisher, Mrs. Maria Silcox and Mrs. Rozilla Maynard, Riverton; 22 grandchildren grandchil-dren and six great-grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Devere Coombs are in Seattle, Wash., visiting Mr. and Mrs. David Peterson. Mrs. Arden Tesch and young son, Dennis Thomas Tesch, of West Jordan, came Monday to visit a week or longer with Mrs. Tesch's parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Thomas. Mrs. Gordon Meyerhoffer and daughter, Jane, arrived in Salt Lake City by plane Wednesday evening from Lethbridge, Alberta, Al-berta, Canada, where they spent several months with Mrs. Meyer-hoffer's Meyer-hoffer's mother, Mrs. Bennett, who has been very ill. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Eastman have moved to Skull Valley to make their home. Staff Sergeant and Mrs. Keith Kendall left Friday to visit a few hours in Denver with Sgt. and Mrs. Thomas Weakland before Sgt. Kendall reports at Amarillo, Texas, for duty. Mrs. Kendall is the former Aloha Eastman and Mrs. Weakland is remembered as Elmyra Eastman. Mrs. George Eastman spent the week-end in Salt Lake City with her daughter, Mrs. Jesse Payne. . : ' ' lark ' ' : Myrlene Wilcox is visiting friends in Salt Lake City for a few days this week. Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Christison spent two weeks' fish' in Beaver. Beav-er. Mrs. Catherine Walker of Beaver returned with them to visit. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Nelson and family of Salt Lake City were Sunda" guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gressman. |
