| Show Wasatch Hikers To lo Close Season At Wi With a New Years Year's party at Cob- Cob inn on December D cember 31 the Wasatch Mountain club will bring to a close a very and successful successful suc sue year Numerous trips and outings have been staged taking hikers to many remote p parts of the state and furnishing them with a great variety of entertainment NUMEROUS TRIPS Some of the outstanding trips were the two-day two ski trip in Fob Feb February from Park City to Brighton involving twenty-seven twenty miles o of fine skiing the vacation trip to Yellowstone Yellowstone yellowstone Yel Yel- park and Jackson Hole covering two weeks and a distance of 1200 miles mUes the Easter trip and services at the Hermitage in Ogden canyon a three-day three trip over Labor Labor Labor La La- bor day at Community camp a two- two day trip to Dr Pfoutz's cabin in Payson canyon a a. winter trip in November up the side of Mt Tim Tim- where snow varying from six Inches to four feet was encountered encountered encountered en en- countered to Maple canyon and Box canyon Lake Blanche the Great Sun Dial Bell canyon an overnight trip to Maxfield's lodge In Big Cottonwood canyon together er with several parties to Saltair Lagoon and Becks Beck's Hot Springs In attendance on these trips was wasa a total of 2000 nonmembers and 1000 members About 2000 was expended for food for the trips TO ERECT HOUSE HOUSEA A substantial sum was added to the clubs club's fund for the erection cf f a clubhouse to be erected in one of the nearby canyons as soon as a sufficient amount of money can be accumulated The years year's program was ably carrIed carried car car- ried ned out by Roy V.
