Lee Webster, Web-ster, a well known society man and until recently one of the wealthiest young men about town, blew out his brains tbis morning soon after midnight, in tbe dining room of Mrs. William Benahaw, on Charles Street Avenue. Liquor, cards and loss or property are said to have been the cause of tbe act, though the conversation between himself and wife shortly before the tragedy may have had much to do with It-Ten It-Ten or eleven years ago young Webster, who was only 9 years old, Inherited from bis uncle an estate known as "Mount Repose," in Baltimore Bal-timore county, and also considerable consider-able personal property. About seven years ago be married Miss Martha Price, daughter or John O. Price. His habits, however, were not tbe best and after coming into possession of his properly he is said to have teen recklessly extra va-gant. |
