Show 'HIGHLAND BoYj Anna Marie Muhar J. R. Clark returned July 27 from Las Vegas where he had a five-day visit with his wife and family. Mr. and Mrs. James Zanardi and daughter, Lucille, of Copper-ton, Copper-ton, spent Thursday evening at the home of his brother, Charles Zanardi. Mr. and Mrs. Pete Mandarich of Midvale visited at the home of Mrs. Rose Yengich Thursday evening. Mrs. Anne McGrath of Ogden was a week-end guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Ams-den. Ams-den. Eleanor Lasher received treatment treat-ment at Bingham hospital Saturday Satur-day for a dislocated vertebrae. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Monty Lasher. Mrs. Joe Church was a Sunday I guest of her mother, Mrs. V. Miola. Jaekie Lee Davidson was a week-end guest of Ann and Mary Casich. Saturday Mrs. George Koso-vich Koso-vich honored her son, Jerry, on his Fourth birthday. Guests present pres-ent at the dinner were Mr. and Mrs. William Hogle. Mrs. Parley Jones and granddaughter, Bobbie Bob-bie Lee Johnson of Copperton and Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Osoro and sons, Larry and Joe, Ann Casich. Pvt. Raymond Kopesec, stationed sta-tioned at Camp Fannin, Texas, located fifteen miles from Tyler, Texas, arrived home Sunday for a ten-day furlough with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kopesec Sr., and relatives here. He expects ex-pects to go to Fort Worth on his return. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Muhar and sons, Eddie and Ronnie, were dinner guests Saturday of Ann Muhar. Rev. Carl Davidson of Idaho Falls was the guest speaker at the Community House Sunday evening. He based his sermon on the three topics. Faith, Hope and Love. The choir sang "Dear Lord Forgive", accompanied by Mrs. E. G. Ball. Rev. Donald Smith sang as a solo "Tis Midnight in the Garden". Other guests at the service were Mrs. Carl Davidson and sons, Melvin'and Paul, and daughters, Clara and Ellen, also Miss Adeline Wilson, secretary of ttjr Idaho Falls church, and six young people, Rev. Donald Smith and seven young people i from McGill, Nev., and Mrs. Wil- Ham Carry of Ely, Nev. This group and five of our young people peo-ple returned Sunday from the Young People's Institute held the past week at Wasatch Academy at Mt. Pleasant. Miss Vera Duhigg returned Tuesday to the LDS hospital for a major operation. She had as visitors this week at the Community Com-munity House the following: Monday evening, Mrs. Ruth Ruf-fin Ruf-fin and Mrs. Elfie Reed; Sunday afternoon Esther Ritzman, all of Bingham hospital, and Thursday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Jo-hanson Jo-hanson and daughters Cheryl and Denece. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Savich and Mrs. Marko Savich of Tooele were Sunday guests of Mrs. Milka Smilanich. Sgt. John Yengich, who served in Africa for the past year, is now stationed somewhere in Italy. He writes he has visited Cassino, Rome and Naples. Sgt Yengich is the son of Mrs. Rose Yengich and husban ' of the former form-er Barbara Davidson. Mrs. Eli Balich Sr. and daughters, daugh-ters, Patsy and Donna, were visitors vis-itors at the Pete Predovieh horde Tuesday and Wednesday. Mrs. Eli Balich and daughter, Patsy are from Roundup, Mont., and Donna is a resident of Los Angeles. An-geles. They are relatives of Mrs Nickolas Balich, the former Ann Predovieh. All motored to Salt Lake City to visit friends before the Balichs left for California Mr. and Mrs. Pete Predovieh and daughter. Ann, and Mr. and Mrs. George Badovinatz visited Mrs. Anna Lilian at Holy Cross hospital Monday evening. Mrs. Lujan was burned when her car caught fire. She was a former it-Mueni oi mniand She is improving and hopes to return home soon. Mr. and Mrs. Pete Mandarich and daughter, Helen, of Midvale, were visitors Sunday at the Predovieh home. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Carl of Copperton Cop-perton visited Monday with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kanniainen. Mr and Mrs. Jack Nichols of Bingham Bing-ham and the Kanniainens spent Sunday at Black Rock beach. |
