According to Mr. Vranes, the biggest problem in carrying on a rat eradication program is to locate lo-cate their nests through cooperation coopera-tion of residents. Representatives of the United States public health service states that practically all rats in this district can be eliminated providing provid-ing public cooperation is assured. it is a known fact tnat rodents are one of the worst carriers of disease and are also one of the hardest pests to eliminate. With proper cooperation and expert help they can be eradicated. The rat poison which will be used by health officials in carrying carry-ing out this program is not harmful harm-ful to any animal except rodents. Local residents need not worry about the poison injuring domesticated domes-ticated animals or children. |
