Show JAYCEES STUDY THREE PROJECTS AT MONDAY MEET The best war time Galena dance is the goal set by Bingham Jaycees for dance lovers of Bingham Bing-ham Canyon and surrounding communities, as they made the final arrangements for the gala affair. As has been the practice since the starting of the war the galena committee will devote its entire time to the selection of the queen and her attendants and to making the Galena dance the outstanding dance of the year. The queen will be selected from the stage of the Princess theatre on the night of Tuesday, September Septem-ber 5, at 9:30 o'clock and will reign over the dance on Saturday, Satur-day, September 9. The chairman of the city beau-tification beau-tification committee and his hard working crew of building wreckers wreck-ers were complimented on the progress of tearing down the old school building eye sore. The project, which has taken considerable consid-erable time and effort, is in its final stages and Eddie Arata, chairman, wishes to thank all Jaycee members for their fine cooperation. The rodent control program is proceeding on schedule with residents re-sidents of Bingham signifying their intentions of helping the Bingham junior chamber with the drive. Joe Vranes, public health chairman, plans to contact con-tact residents of Copperfield and Highland Boy to initiate similar plans in those adjacent communities. commu-nities. Following their Monday night meeting the Jaycee members were entertained royally by the Jay-C-Ettes with a evening of games, dancing, refreshments and a surprise preview of a forthcoming forthcom-ing picture. Arrangements for the night's entertainment were handled by Mrs. Harold Chesler, chairman, and her committee of Mrs. Ken Shulsen, Mrs. Kay Alves and Mrs. Harold Nielsen. . .. |
