At Clonmel today, a, verdict ot guilty was rendered rend-ered against William O'Brien, John Dillon, 1'atrlck O'Brien, Member of Parliament, John Cullinane, Thomas WaUh, Patrick ilotkler and Bolton for conspiring to Induce tbe tenants on tbe Smitb-Barrey estates not lo pay tb.Ir rent. William Wil-liam O'Brien and X(illon were each sentenced to two terms of imprison ment, six months eaeb, sentences to run concurrently. Patrick O'Brien and Culllnane were each sentenced to six months Imprisonment. Walsh, Moiklerand Bolton got four months each, all without labor. Father Humphreys, Thomas J. Condnu, Member of I'arliamenDaniel Kelly nnd David Bheeby, member of Parliament, Par-liament, were found not guilty. |
