The action of the new Legislature shows that its members were well selected and that they understand and desire to carry into effect tho wishes of the majority of the iicople. Joseph M.Carey was chosen without with-out difficulty. He served the Territory faithfully as Delegate, fought down all opposition to Statehood, State-hood, stood by tbe liberties of all tbe citizens and would not ouccumb to the efforts of demigogues to put a blotch on the State Constitution. He has fairly won the Senatorshlp and will do honor to Wyoming in the Upper House of Congress. Francis E. Warner has obtained tbe second place. He has been a strong Governor and will make a good Senator. He is a man of fine physique, a natural politician, is familiar with national questions and wlllproea splendid colleague for Senator Carey.
