Show GAME WARDENS OBTAIN 48 CONVICTIONS Game wardens, continuing their campaign against fish and game law violators, Utah's game wardens war-dens obtained convictions on 48 persons during July, George W. Reid, chief deputy game warden, announced today. Fines during the month totaled $1280, one of the highest figures for many months, the monthly arrest ar-rest and conviction report showed. Most common offense was use of illegal baits, with fishing in closed waters a close second. Fishing Fish-ing after hours resulted in the third largest number of arrests, Reid reported. One arrest, for illegal possession posses-sion of deer meat, resulted in a fine of $150, largest on the month's report. |
