New Weed Killer For Morning Glory, White Top The new weed killer known as 2, 4-D, is giving encouraging results re-sults in Utah county on wild morning morn-ing glory and white top, according to an, announcement made today by S. R. Boswell, Utah County Agent. Under the auspices of the county coun-ty weed committee a tour of inspection in-spection took place Friday. Members Mem-bers of the County Commissioners, Commission-ers, the AAA committee and other oth-er agricultural department officials offi-cials took part. The tour in the north part of the county was directed di-rected by H- A. Anderson, weed supervisor for Lehi. The south end was directed by Reed Bird of Springville. Mr. George Hobson, State Weed Supervisor, was present pres-ent and brought the news that the other counties of the state are getting get-ting the same good results as in Utah county. ' Visits were made on the farm of Jos. M. College, Lehi, where white top which had been treated in April was inspected. Morning glory on the farms of Grant Chris-topherson Chris-topherson and Saratoga Farms were also looked over. At American Ameri-can Fork, two areas belonging to Marion Green were visited and the kill noted. In Pleasant Grove the work done on the Wm- H. Hone farm was also looked over.
