Show FORMER RESIDENT DIED MONDAY AT LONG BEACH, CALIF. Wallace G. Watson, 72, former resident of Springville, died Monday Mon-day at Long Beach, Calif., according accord-ing to word received here by rel-ativesy rel-ativesy A native of Springville, he had made his home in California for nearly 35 years. He was a son of Robert E. and Eliza Watson, and spent his early life here. For j some time, he was associated with I his brothers, James R. and Wm. ' E.. Watson, in railroad construction construc-tion in this locality. Later, he moved to Jerome, Ariz., where he was civil engineer for a mining company. He had been employed as a civil engineer for a railroad in California, and his death was the result of a railroad accident which he suffered eleven years ago. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Pearl Ewing Watson, and one daughter, Mrs. Vivian In-galls, In-galls, Long Beach, Calif., a sister, Mrs. Eliza Watson Hardman, Seattle, Se-attle, Wash. He also has two nieces, Mrs. Margaret Blackett and Mrs. Mary Palfreyman of this city. Funeral services and burial will be conducted at Long Beach. |
